Our Mission Statement
“To Glorify God by Making Disciples of Jesus”
Our Pillars
These convictions serve as a clear and bold statement of our ministry. On these few priorities we devout most of our time and energy.
Unashamed Adoration
Lifting high the name of Jesus through worship. “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24
Unapologetic Preaching
Proclaiming the authority of God’s Word without apology. “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:2
Unafraid Witness
Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness. “And also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:19-20
Unceasing Prayer
Fervently and at all times, presenting all things to God. “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
Unrelenting Love
Enduring in love as the foundation of all relationship. “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35
Unmitigated Compassion
Caring for the poor and the needy “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction,” James 1:27
Our Philosophy of Ministry
A Vertical Focus for Horizontal Impact
As evidence of true conversion every believer:
Worships Christ corporately during weekly worship services and personally throughout the week (Heb 10:25; 1 Cor 10:31, Eph 5:19).
Walks with Christ corporately by plugging in to a Small Group and personally by dying to sin and choosing to live righteously before God (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Peter 2:24).
Works for Christ corporately by faithfully serving in one or more Harvest Miami ministries and personally by practically serving others (Eph 4:11-16; Mark 10:45)
Witnesses for Christ corporately by participating in outreach opportunities at Harvest Miami and personally by sharing the Gospel in ‘word and deed’ with those who are not believers (Acts 1:8; Matt 28:19-20).
